It all started when…

Well, we could begin the story in May 2006 when New York Times advertising executive Ed Carey struck up a conversation with Fordham marketing student Landis Livingston in the Columbus Circle Whole Foods in Manhattan, but that might be a bit long-winded. So, let’s fast forward twelve years to 2018 when Ed and Landis, now married with three children and living in South Orange, NJ, brought their business acumen together to market Landis’ real estate services.

But life didn’t intend for this practice to last long. In July 2018, Landis was diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer and underwent an extensive, but curative surgery. The entire experience upended The Carey Family, and after Landis recovered, the two decided it was time to build Ed’s dream business.
